By detaching myself from the figurative, I remain in touch with myself and with color.
In the absence of a figurative motif, the viewer is invited to trust their own feelings; to feel what the picture is telling them.
Completely pure:
I stay close to myself – and give you the space to do the same.

I am not asking for understanding of my intention.
It is not a question of what I wanted to portray.
I don’t want to please with my works.
If it touches you, then you are connected with the energy of the picture and directly involved in what I wanted.
Overcoming functionalities is the impulse behind my artistic work.
I free you, the viewer, from the function of understanding me.
The picture interacts with your being and you feel what the picture does to you.
